By Joe Labriola
The snaking chain of very busy people behind me
honked their horns
and tossed their hands to the sky in utter anguish
as I paused in the traffic to let a car turn into our lane.
The man I let in, smiled and waved,
and when we reached the next light,
he kept his blind course steady
despite the woman trying to sneak into our lane,
her hands tossed to the sky in utter anguish.
