Red tears rain down, and down, and down.
They pour so fast and hope to drown
the pain that pangs, and pokes, and jokes;
that floods your heart, and laughs, and chokes.
What seemed so right, so warm, so nice
now chills so cold, like diamond ice.
What you believed was on your side,
it now rejects, and mocks, and chides.
But now you know which way to go.
As clouds all cease, so does your woe.
And you survive, and live to tell
of how you fought your way through hell.
Though you have lost, you now have earned
the truth and strength you’ve always yearned.
