A wise man said: “Be bold or don’t bother,”
Life’s an adventure, live or leave the game.
Seize the day, you might not get another.
All things end, there are no eternal flames.
Only time will tell how it’s all destroyed.
Made of flesh or stone, it will all decay.
Whatever we write, or build to avoid
Our fates which we know we cannot delay.
Who will survive to protect what we’ve left?
Why should we mourn as our works fade with time?
As the whole world crumbles, by nature’s theft,
Who will enjoy these fading works and rhymes?
All you can hope is to enjoy your days.
Play all you can, and avoid sorry lays.
